Funeral services for Bertha M. Britain age 90 of Edgewater will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday April 26 2008 at Lohman Funeral Home Chapel Daytona with internment to follow at Lohman Daytona Memorial Park with Reverend Ned Michaels officiating. Her family will receive friends at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M.
Bertha was born in Perth NY October 14 1917. She moved to Edgewater from NY in 1957. Bertha was a member of Edgewater Union Church. She was an avid sports fan of baseball golf and NASCAR and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and BINGO player. Bertha is survived by her loving son William (Yvonne) Britain of Edgewater; grandchildren Karl (Tess) Britain of Atlanta GA Melissa (Tony) Wilson of Holly Hill Mary (Greg) Elam of Florence AL Timothy Britain of Edgewater Tammy (Robert) Deandrade of New Bedford MA Paul Tierney of Edgewater; 11 Great-grandchildren; 1 Great-great-grandchild.
