Bernice D. Sheppard 91 of New Smyrna Beach passed away Monday July 18 2005 at Bayside Care Center in Port Orange. Mrs. Sheppard moved to this area in 1951 from Stone Mountain GA. She and her late husband G. E. Sheppard owned and operated the G. E. Sheppard Dairy in Stone Mountain before they moved to Daytona Beach where they owned and operated The El Rio Motel until 1966.
Mrs. Sheppard enjoyed gardening cooking arts & crafts and crossword puzzles.
Survivors include her son E. Gower Sheppard of New Smyrna Beach; 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Volusia/Flagler 3800 Woodbriar Trail Port Orange FL 32129.
