Bernard Anthony Watson, 81 of Medford, N.J. died Monday December 18 th , 2017 at his home in Palm
Coast, Fl. after a long battle with dementia; his loving wife Virginia by his side. Bernard was born in
Camden N.J. to Mary and Arthur Watson on August 8, 1936. "Reds" as he was known, grew up in
Camden, played football at Woodrow Wilson High School, served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps
and later was a respected coach for the Maple Shade Youth Football League while residing there for
twenty years. Reds was predeceased by his brother Arthur Watson, but leaves behind his loving wife
Virginia, his 2 brothers, Joseph and Henry Watson, his seven Children; Deborah Maull, Joseph Watson,
Rosemary Rybeck, John Watson, Diane Gerber, Linda Kortum, and Joanne Tull, 16 grandchildren and 6
great-grandchildren. He was a loving father and grandfather, and lived by the example of hard work and
dedication to provide for his family. He will missed dearly by his family and friends. Services will be held
privately, but those who wish may share condolences with the family here on our website. In lieu of
