Bernard "Bernie" Smith II 73 passed away March 19 2012. A memorial gathering in his honor will be held at Catholic Church of the Epiphany Port Orange FL on Saturday March 31 2012 at 11:00 am. He was the beloved husband of Arlene Smith for 37 beautiful years loving father to Tina (Michael) Gossart Beverly Anne Morton and Bernie (Robin) Smith III. With former wife and friend Mary E. Smith Bernie was the loving father of Rick (Laura) Smith Terri (Steven) Custard Beverly Renee Durkin Toni (Gary) Phelps Mike (Patti) Smith and a very special "Pappy" to 22 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He leaves two siblings Joseph (Jane) Smith and Mary K. (Paul) Samborski. Bernie was a family man avid motorcyclist and served in the US Air force. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Bernie's name to the Catholic Church of the Epiphany 201 Lafayette Street Port Orange FL 32127 and/or the American Cancer Society 1737 N.
