Bernard Anthony Flatley, Jr., 83, of Holly Hill, Florida, passed peacefully from this life on September 3, 2014.

Bernard was born in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Bernard A. Flatley, Sr. and Charlotte Flatley on July 15, 1931. He served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War. Upon his discharge he attended the Southern Technical Institute ultimately graduating to become an Display Engineer. Bernard made his way to the Daytona Beach area to begin a career with G.E. where he retired after 30 years of employment. He will be missed by many, especially those most dear to him, his family.

Bernard is survived by his beloved wife, Gloria Flatley, his loving sons; Tony Flatley (Randee), James Flatley (Kathy) and Mark Flatley (Charlotte), his six devoted grandchildren and three adoring great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for 11:00 A.M. on Friday September 12, 2014 at the Bishop's Glen Retirement Community Auditorium, located at 900 LPGA Blvd, Holly Hill, FL 32117.
