Bennie A. Porto of Ormond Beach passed away peacefully at his home on November 28 2010. Bennie was 79 years old born in Beaver Falls PA on May 18 1931. Left to cherish his memories is his loving wife of 62 years Betty L. (Jennings) Porto Ormond Beach FL; his children Richard (Pat) Porto of Conneaut Lake PA; Brad (Linda) Porto of Ormond Beach FL; Barbara Porto (Tim) Holbert of Palm Coast FL; Lori (Dieter) Flanagan of Palm Coast FL; his 7-Grandchildren Robert Porto Brian Porto Jake Glass Brant Wooley Benjamin Porto Julie (Jim) Nelson and Ashley Glass; his 3-Great Grandchildren Macey Porto Aubrey Porto and Bryanna Glass; his brothers Charles Porto and Richard Porto; his sisters Dorothy Capo and Rose Thayer; and many caring friends and family. Bennie moved to Ormond Beach area in 1980 from Beaver Falls PA. He was employed by Dravo Corporation for over 30 years as a truck driver. He is a past member of over 30 years of the Teamsters Construction Industry in Pittsburgh PA. Bennie celebrated his life with many close friends and adoring family and enjoyed working with his hands and building several homes.
