Bennie (Betty) Ruth Morris, A resident of Ormond Beach since 1963, passed away on December 27, 2013.

Betty was born in Harrisburg, Mo. She moved to Cleveland, OH in 1940 and worked for General Electric. Which is where she met her husband. They were married for fifty-one years. Betty enjoyed sewing, reading the bible and listening to 1940's music and enjoyed many cruises with her husband. They enjoyed spending most of their time with their grandchildren. Betty was a member of the Ormond Beach Presbyterian Church since 1976. Betty attended church every Sunday and loved the choir.

She is survived by her loving son Gary; five grandchildren Tayna, Nicole, Michael, Jessica and Jenny; one great-grandchild Mackland; two daughters-in-law Samantha and Sandra. She is preceded in death by one son, Bobby.

A Celebration of Life will be held in her Honor on Thursday, January 2, 2014 at 1:00pm at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona Beach. Family will receive friends from 11am to 1:00pm Thursday, January 2, 2014. Entombment will follow at Daytona Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be made in her name to Ormond Beach Presbyterian Church, 105 Amsden Road, Ormond Beach, Fl. 32176.
