Bennett "Ben" Wightman age 83 of Palm Coast passed away at Halifax Medical Center in Daytona Beach on Thursday December 7 2006.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday December 15 2006 in First Baptist Church of Palm Coast 6050 Palm Coast Pkwy NW with Pastor Dennis Littleton officiating.
Ben was born in Lawrence Mass. on August 16 1923. He served in the US Army during WWII in Normandy France & Central Europe as an airplane & engine mechanic. Ben moved to Palm Coast from New Hampshire 16 years ago and was a member of the V.F.W. Elks First Baptist Church & the Flagler Ballroom Dancers.
Left to cherish their memories of Ben are Rose Charlene Janet Bennett Jr. Joseph and 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
