Benjamin Williams, 92 of Jonesboro, Georgia passed away in his home on Thursday, July 10, 2014.
He was born in Westmoreland, Jamaica, B.W.I on February 27, 1922 to Frances Martin Williams and Nathaniel David Williams. During his childhood and teen age years he was raised in the Church of the Salvation Army.

He resided in Jamaica until World War ll when he came to the United States to work. He returned to his homeland only to return to the United States, where he remained until his passing July 10,2014. Benjamin Williams became a Naturalized Citizen of the United States May 3, 1955. Mr. Williams was an active person for many years enjoying boxing, cycling, walking and dancing. He had a passion for a wide range of music including Opera. He loved telling jokes and he enjoyed listening to Joel Osteen's jokes giving during church services.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters Dalvis White, Ina Williams, May Williams and brother Hugh Williams. He is survived by his beloved, Mitty Lee Fong. Children Fitz Williams (London), Anthony Williams (St. Vincent's and the Grenadines), Andrew Williams ( New York), Evadne Parkinson (Georgia), Claudette Moustakis (New York); stepchildren Viola Anderson, M.D., Michelle Lyn, MD, Roland Anderson (Texas); 18 grandchildren - Chai Williams, Katerena Moustakis, Bryce Ambrose, ,Shakira Williams, Francoise Williams, Nicholas Williams, Nicole Williams, Miles Williams, Anthony Cambell,Yvonne Williams, Ian Williams, Kevin Anthony Williams, Marlayn Belgrave, Adrienne Anderson, Justin Anderson, Kurt Lyn Jr., Michael Lyn, Racquel Lyn and many loving great and great, great grandchildren, grandnieces, grandnephews, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and other relatives; sister-in-law Elsie Williams, sons-in law Costa Moustakis, and Kurt Lyn.
