Obituary

Bart J. Milano, 82, of Daytona Beach passed away on Friday September 11th.

Bart was born in Chicago, Illinois in 1932, to Peter and Ella Milano. He served his country during the Korean Conflict as a member of the U. S. Coast Guard, and after his service, went on to earn a degree from S.U.N.Y. Buffalo. He met and married Patricia Ann Donlon in 1955 and they would spend the next 49 years together until her passing in 2004. Bart made his mark in sales and marketing, working in a variety of positions, until ultimately heading out on his own and beginning his own businesses. His work kept him busy and although he relocated many times, Bart would spend most of his time in New Jersey and traveling to Daytona Beach for vacations, until he finally made Daytona his home in 2000.

Bart was an avid reader and golf enthusiast. While living in Jersey, he spent 25 years as a member of the Riverton Country Club and after his move to Florida he joined both Pelican Bay Country Club and The Halifax River Yacht Club, both in Daytona Beach.

Bart was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Patricia. Those left to cherish Bart's memory are: his brother, Michael Milano, his four children, Mike (Kim) Milano, Jennifer (Glenn) Degutis, John (Lori) Milano, and Beverly (Chris) Solimine, his 10 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, a host of friends and relatives, and his dear friend of the past 11 years, Victoria "Vicki" Shultz.
