Stumler Barbara R. - Mass of Christian Burial for Barbara R. Stumler 69 who died Friday July 9 2010 will be 10 a.m. Wednesday July 14 at St. Brendan's Catholic Church with the Rev. John Ryan officiating. Entombment will follow at Volusia Memorial Park. Family will receive friends Tuesday July 13 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Lohman Funeral Home Port Orange 1201 Dunlawton Ave Port Orange. Mrs. Stumler was born and raised in New Albany Indiana where she graduated from New Albany High School in 1960. She met and married her beloved husband Adam F. Stumler Sr. who predeceased her on April 12 2000 and they moved to Bradenton in 1975. Both were members of St. Peter and Paul's Catholic Church in Bradenton where they served as Eucharistic ministers and ushers. In Ormond Beach they were members of St. Brendan's Catholic Church and Loyal Order of the Moose. She is survived by her son Adam Jr. of Ormond Beach; her grandchildren Mary Knight Julie Silvestro David Stumler Erica Nash and Amber Stumler; nine great grandchildren; and her sisters Tena K. Coffey of Chicora PA and Janice F. Rizor of Texas. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital P.O.
