Barbara Anne Smith 71 of Ormond Beach FL passed away on Tuesday May 29 2012 at Halifax Hospital Memorial Medical. A Celebration of Life will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday June 2nd at the Volusia County Library; 30 S. Beach St. Ormond Beach officiated by the "Friends of the Library". Barbara was born on December 14 1940 in Newark New Jersey to Henry and Nadya (Haverluk) Schlosser. She and her loving husband of 50 years Bruce relocated to Ormond Beach area in 1998 from Vermont. Barbara was known for her untiring volunteer work with the Friends of the Ormond Beach Library where she served as 1st Vice President and membership chairman. She was a retired Real Estate Broker with Smith and Co. in Vermont; she was an avid reader enjoyed worldwide traveling arts and crafts and sailing. Barbara was a loving wife mother and grandmother to her husband of 50 yrs. Bruce W.
