Nova Rd Ormond Beach FL. The family will receive friends at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond 733 W. Granada Blvd. Ormond Beach FL on Tuesday October 28 2008 from 5:00 to 7:00pm. Born in Sandstone Minnesota on August 18 1962 to Henry & Josephine Jurek. Barbara moved to the area in 1984 coming from Barnum Minnesota. She was a Director of Nursing at Avante at Ormond Beach Nursing & Rehabilitation Center for over 16 years. During her time at Avante she would settle for nothing but the best quality of life for the residents who lived there. She was married to Walt Misiewicz on June 14 1986. Barbara was a caring and determined woman who showed so much love for everyone every day. She was a loving wife and mother who wanted the best for her family. Barbara is survived by her beloved husband Walt Misiewicz; her daughter Krystyne Misiewicz; her son Walter Misiewicz; her parents: Henry & Josephine Jurek of Barnum MN and her brothers: Dan Jurek and his son D.J. David Jurek David's wife Sarah and children Kendra & Janaya. Following the burial the family is inviting everyone for a reception at Avante at Ormond Beach Nursing and Rehabilitation Center 170 N.
