Barbara Jane Minardi, 85 of Deltona passed away Monday, December 1, 2014. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 12:00pm at Deltona Alliance Church, 921 Deltona Blvd., Deltona. She was born on January 14, 1929 in Patchogue, New York to Edward and Isabella Baker. She worked as a US Civil Service for over 40 years. After she retired, Barbara volunteered for 13 years at the Volusia County Sheriff's Office, District 4 Station. She was a member of the Deland Widows and Widowers Club and a member of the Quilting Guild of Deland. Barbara enjoyed spending her time with her loving grandchildren, children and friends. She is survived by one son Wayne Minardi; three daughters Irene, Cynthia and Lorraine. The family requests memorial donations be made to 100 Deputies for 100 Kids, at 123 West Indiana Avenue, Deland, FL. 32724
