Barbara Joan Gordon LeFebre, 83, passed away suddenly on August 9th. She was born in Jamaica, Queens, New York, on June 23rd, 1941. She grew up in Garden City, NY. She met a young lad from Franklin Square named Eddie at the age of 15. They married three days before her 17th birthday.

Before you know, 21 months passed and "Triplets the hard way" was an accurate description as her sons, Robert, Edward and Scot gave this amazing woman unconditional love she deserved.

Barbara worked retail for A&S(NY), Belk's and Dillard's. She had an amazing sense of humor that always had an effect on others she met. She was adored by so many. She loved her dogs especially the greyhounds her and Ed had adopted through the years.

Barbara is survived by her three sons, Robert, Edward and Scot, Daughter in law Beverly, 12 Grandchildren, and 11 Great Grandchildren.

Ed and Barbara enjoyed 62 years of marriage and are together again now and will be buried together back on Long Island.
