Barbara Ann Dawson "Bad" age 74 of Sunny Sands Community in Pierson FL was welcomed into the loving arms of our Lord on Tuesday January 25 2011. A 5:30 pm visitation followed by a 7:30pm service at the Deland Chapel of the Lohman Funeral Home.

Barbara was born in Owensboro Kentucky to Orville and Teresa Nesmith. This "Fantastic Lady " loved to socialize was the "face of friendliness" at Sunny Sands had a talent for making strangers friends. She was unpretentious enjoyed reading crosswords and a natural lifestyle.

Her parents and beloved husband of 28 years Gary Dawson preceded her in death and she leaves behind to cherish her memory 6 Children: William Huntley Frank Adams Teresa Ganger Tammy Barr Alice Decebrino and Mary Huntley her devoted friend: Robert "Jonesy" Jones a brother John Nesmith a sister Pat Simmons 9 grandchildren 2 great grandchildren and her Sunny Sands community family.
