Barbara Collier age 78 of Port Orange FL passed away December 29 2010 at Halifax Memorial in Port Orange. A ""Celebration of Life"" will be held Tuesday January 4th at 2:00pm at Cardwell Funeral Home 3571 Ridge-wood in Port Orange. Internment will be at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington VA. Barbara was born February 5th 1932 in Washington DC to Frank and Eloisa Buckley. She retired from the Arlington County VA school system and relocated to Port Orange in 1990. She was an active member of the Elk Hearts and VFW in Port Orange. Her love of life and the joy and laughter she brought to her family and friends will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 56 years John ""Jack"" Collier of Port Orange; her daughters Rita Dailey and husband Richard Dailey of Centreville VA Dana Oden and husband Mark Oden of Centreville VA; sons John 'JC' Collier Jr. and wife Susie Collier of Centreville VA and Brian Collier and wife Michelle Collier of Arlington VA; and her seven very loved grandchildren Rachel and Ricky Dailey Kimberly and Mark Oden Jr and Zachary Caroline and Sammy Collier all of Centreville VA.; and one brother John Buckley of Fredericksburg VA. Arrangements are under the entrusted care of Cardwell Funeral Home.
