Barbara Susan Carvunaris, 79, of Deltona Florida passed away August 28, 2018. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered as dedicated to her family and profession. Barbara's first full time job was caring for her three young children. Later she achieved her Master's Degree in Education, where she taught elementary school for over 25 years. Barbara's passions included traveling, Oriental culture, boating, reading, playing cards/bunco with close friends and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Barbara was married for over 50 years and was then lucky enough to meet Gene Arteta. They would spend their mornings enjoying coffee and croissants while they watched the sun rise over the ocean. Surviving her in death is her three beloved children; two daughters Susan Carvunaris and Lisa Stinnett and one son, John Carvunaris. Barbara cherished spending time with her two granddaughters, Kira Walsh and Sadie Stubbs as well as her two grandsons, Alex and Sebastian Carvunaris.
