Barbara A. Best 82 a long-time resident of Volusia County passed away November 10 2009. She was born January 3 1927 in Oneida NY where she met her adoring late husband Donald with whom she enjoyed an endured 50 wonderful years with. Barbara lived for her family and always gave selflessly throughout her life. She was firm in her convictions lived by a strong code of ethics and was always there to lend a helping hand. She was deeply loved by her family and friends and will be dearly missed by all. Left to cherish her memory are her sons; Richard (JoAnne) Best of South Carolina Gary (Pam) Best of Daytona Beach Roger Best of Edgewater; daughters Sharon Best of Virginia Stacy Fetick of Ohio Amy Best of Jacksonville; sister Corrine Clanton of New York; 19 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased in death by her husband Donald; brother Fred and sisters Norine and Shirley. Services will be private.
