Our Mother doubted her own beauty,
but our Mother was the moon.

And as her children, we decorated her skies with stars; one for each moment of laughter, each achievement of which she was proud of, and one for each "I love you."

And what she didn't know, and what we hope she learned in death, was that with her kind heart and gentle soul ~ she taught us to dream, to hope, to never give up, to love.

So yes, our Mother was the Moon, and she slipped away from us, into what we have to believe, and oh so very hope, were our Father's arms.
