Avie F. Stewart 86 of Daytona Beach went to be with her heavenly father on May 10 2010.
Mrs. Stewart was born in DeFuniak Springs FL on August 6 1923 to Mr. & Mrs. W.A. Garrett Sr. Avie enjoyed knitting board games church and most of all spending time with her beloved family. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Daytona Beach. A visitation will be held on Wednesday May 12 2010 at Lohman Funeral Home 733 W. Granada Blvd Ormond Beach from 4pm- 7pm. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday May 13 2010 at First Baptist Church 118 North Palmetto Avenue Daytona Beach at 2pm. Burial will follow the service at Daytona Memorial Park Cemetery. Avie is survived by her daughters Martha Boutwell (Tommy) of Selma AL Margaret Sanders (Ben) of Midwest City OK Gladys Spikes (Glen) of Puxico MO Mary Ann Shipman (David) of Holly Hill FL ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Mrs. Stewart is predeceased by her parents Mr. & Mrs. W.A. Garrett Sr. brothers W.A. Garrett Jr. and Bob Garrett and sister Mary Lee Ellisor.
