Auldric Thomas, 79, of Palm Coast, FL passed away December 26, 2011 at Florida Hospital Flagler. Visitation will be held January 3, 2012 from 5 pm to 8 pm at the Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast, 220 Palm Coast Parkway SW, PC, FL. and on January 4, 2012 from 9:30 am until the Mass of Christian burial at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church 4600 Belle Terre Parkway PC. Auldric was born in Venezuela and raised in Trinidad where he graduated from Fyzabad Intermediate School. He then attended the apprenticeship program of Texaco Oil School in Forest Reserve, Trinidad. He moved to Caracas then to Brooklyn NY where he worked as a steamfitter for the Local 638 Steamfitters of NY and Long Island. In 1996 Auldric moved to Palm Coast. He spent his time watching sports and listening to the Steel Pans. Auldric was an avid NY Yankees fan. His number one love was his family. He loved being a husband, dad and grand-dad. Auldric was preceded in death by his brother Patrick. He is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years Christina Thomas, sons Anthony Thomas and his wife Brenda of Palm Coast, Aldwyn Thomas and his wife Hazel of Cambria Heights, NY, daughter Ann Marie Arthur and her husband Michael of TX., brother Herman Thomas of Palm Coast, sisters Marjorie, Enid, Millicent, Wilma, Olva, and Christina. He was also the loving grandfather to 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Donations in Auldric's name may be made to National Kidney Foundation Finance Department 30 East 33rd St. NY,NY 10016.
