Audrey M. Sowden 88 of South Daytona passed away Monday January 11 2010. Audrey was born in Tennessee. She moved to Daytona Beach in the early 1970's from Michigan. She loved traveling making dolls sewing and collecting antiques and was a wonderful cook. Her greatest devotion however was for her family. Audrey was a loving wife and mother and was described by her children as the "perfect" Mom. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Melville. She is survived by her children Kenneth (Daisy) Sowden Sanford FL Bruce (Ana) Sowden Casselberry FL and Teresa (Roger) Dangalan Port Orange FL; 7 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 3 sisters and 2 brothers. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to the Alzheimer's Association P.O. Box 96011 Washington DC 20090.
