Audrey Clemons Maynard 82 of Port Orange a retired employee of the Daytona Beach Hilton and co-owner of Tommy?s Restaurant passed away at home in the loving care of her family Joan Headlee niece Jean Galloway a dear friend and Tamara and all the staff of Hospice of the Palm Coast on Monday evening April 17th.
Her funeral service will be held Friday evening April 21st at 7pm in the chapel of Baggett & Summers Funeral Home with her grandson Pastor Tommy Thompson officiating. Her family will receive friends from 5 pm till time of service.
God saw the road was getting rough
He knew you?d had your share
He gently closed those loving eyes
And took you in his care
Each time we see your picture
You seem to smile and say
?Don?t cry I?m only sleeping
We?ll meet again someday.?
Mrs. Maynard a loving mother grandmother and great grandmother moved from Ashland KY. in 1960. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church in Ashland KY and Silver Beach Baptist Church Daytona Beach FL. Mrs. Maynard was predeceased by her daughter Linda Maynard Thompson and former husband Thomas Maynard.
Survivors include: her daughter Jennifer Coolidge of Port Orange 5 granddaughters: Michelle Heath of Port Orange Kimberly Austin of Wisconsin Jolyn Thompson of Port Orange Kayla Coolidge and Karly Coolidge of Port Orange 1 grandson Tommy Thompson 10 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
