Arvilla E. Darling 88 passed away peacefully on May 3 2013. Arvilla was born in East Providence Rhode Island in 1924 to the late Joseph A. and Elizabeth Prickett. She graduated from East Providence Senior High School. Later she became a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. In 1946 she married John E. Darling and in 1958 Arvilla and John moved to Daytona Beach. She was a secretary for the City of Daytona Beach for 30 years. Following her retirement she enjoyed reading and watching movies. Arvilla was the beloved wife of the late John E. Darling who passed away in 1973. Those left to cherish her memory are her sons John E. (Linda Sue) Darling Jr. of Tampa FL and Mark F. Darling of Lake Mary FL. grandchildren Mark J. Darling Michelle L. Darling-Foster Shawn C. Darling and Ryan T. Darling. Arvilla will be interred next to her husband at Daytona Memorial Park in Daytona Beach Florida. Arrangements are under the careful direction of Lohman Funeral Home Daytona.
