Arthur F. Lagron 83 of Holly Hill Florida passed away May 18 2012 at Halifax Hospital. A funeral service will be held on Thursday May 24 2012 at 10:00 A.M at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona 1423 Bellevue Ave Daytona Beach FL 32114. Interment to follow at Daytona Memorial Park. A visitation in his honor will be held on Wednesday May 23 2012 from 5:00 P.M to 7:00 P.M at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona. Arthur was born January 17 1929 in Peoria IL to Gustave and Vera Ruth Lagron. He was a graduate of Woodruff High School Peoria IL. He was a percussionist starting at an early age in elementary school. He played in many bands in Peoria IL and later in Daytona Beach FL entertaining in the various nursing homes here. He also instructed percussion to others. In addition to his music he repaired clocks and watches. Arthur is survived by his sister; Marjory Lacey Walczak nephew; Francis P. Lacey and wife Rosemarie and niece; Edith Ann Mendenhall and husband Greg. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of Arthur Lagron to Halifax Health Hospice of Volusia Flagler.
