Arthur F. Graham, age 93, passed away on Friday, January 24, 2025 after a short illness. He was born in Dothan, Alabama in September 1931, to the late Franklin and Ethel Graham. Art, as he was known to friends, was married to Stevie Walker Graham for over 69 years. He graduated from Mainland High School in 1949, and Emory University in 1957. He served in the U. S. Navy from 1951-1955. He was a park ranger and ultimately a park superintendent for the U. S. National Park Service from 1958 to 1987. Upon retirement from the National Park Service he returned to Daytona Beach, and was the first Beach Department Director for Volusia County from 1988 to 1990. He was also a member of the Checkered Flag Committee for over 20 years. He is survived by his wife Stevie, and his sons Franklin (Angela) and Arthur (Sandra). His grandchildren are Stephanie Graham, Melissa Cooper (Sam), Ashleigh Graham, and Jack Graham. His great granddaughter is Savannah Cooper. A private ceremony for family will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Family Renew Community, P.O. Box 250123, Holly Hill, FL 32125.
