Memorial Service for Arnold H. Merritt age 79 of Flagler Beach who passed away Wednesday December 21 2005 will be held Saturday January 7 2006 at 11:00am at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond. He was born December 22 1925 to Harold and Doris Merritt in Providence RI and moved to this area in 1973. Arnold worked in the insurance industry as a supervisor throughout his life. He was an army veteran serving in WWII. He was an avid reader loved to travel and enjoyed watching NASCAR. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years Simone Maton daughter Barbara Bergman and her longtime companion Ronald Stailey of Flagler Beach brother Richard and wife Betty of Marlborough CT sister-in-law Denise and husband Walter Siboroski of Flagler Beach brother-in law Gilbert Maton of Jersey Shore PA a grandson Matthew Bergman and numerous nieces and nephews.
