Arnold G. Cardinal, 81, of Holly Hill passed away on Saturday, May 17, 2014.

A prayer service will be held at 9:00 A.M., on Thursday, May 22, 2014 at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona, 1423 Bellevue Avenue, Daytona Beach. Inurnment will immediately follow at Daytona Memorial Park.

Arnold was born on September 30, 1932 in Buffalo, New York to Ida Aldrich and William J. Cardinal. He retired as a supervisor form the Pillsbury Flour Mill in New York after 43 years of employment. Arnold had a love for the outdoors, and he enjoyed fishing, golfing, and horse tracks. He relocated from New York in 1990 following his retirement to be closer to family.

Arnold is preceded in death by his parents, Ida Aldrich Cardinal, William J. Cardinal, and brother, Eugene P. Cardinal.

He is survived by his children, Arnold (Roine) Cardinal, Douglas Cardinal, Timothy (Jessica) Cardinal, James Cardinal, Allen J. Cardinal; siblings, Ted Cardinal, Richard Cardinal, Michael Cardinal, Franklin (Joyce) Cardinal, Eileen (Donald) Harvey, Darryl (Kim) Cardinal; twelve grandchildren, and twenty-one great grandchildren.
