Arline B. Jagde of Port Orange passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday September 14 2010 with her daughter Barbara at her side. Arline was 81 years old born in Brooklyn NY on November 7 1928 daughter to Bernhard Werling and Estella Johanson Werling. Left to cherish her memories is her daughters Barbara Simek of Port Orange FL; and Carol Jagde of Largo FL; her son Charles (Eleanor) Jagde of Medford NY; her brother William (Kristin) Werling of Williamsburg VA; and five grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband of 61 years Charles W. Jagde; her parents; one grandchild and one great-grandchild. Arline celebrated her life with lots of family and dear friends and enjoyed her time with them all. Her favorite hobby was making hand-made quilts for the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed baking and making baskets out of flowers. Arline was a Member of the Eastern Star; and a Member and Past President of the Ladies Auxiliary of Valley Stream NY Fire Depart. Arline and her husband moved to Florida upon Charles' retirement in 1979 from Long Island NY. A Memorial Service in honor of Arline will be held by her family on Friday September 17 2010 at 1:00PM at Our Savior's Lutheran Church located at 1715 Taylor Road Port Orange FL 32128.
