Ardyth Marie Hurst 97 of Ormond Beach Fla. passed away Friday June 14 2013 at Halifax Health of Volusia/Flagler Port Orange FL.
Funeral services will be celebrated on Friday June 21st at 12:00 p.m. at Lohman Funeral Home 733 W. Granada Blvd. Ormond Beach.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to services. Entombment will follow at Shady Rest Cemetery Holly Hill.

Ardyth was born March 28 1916 in Austin Minnesota. She was a financial secretary at Hudson Pulp and Paper (Georgia Pacific) in Palatka FL from 1957-1973 then transfer her secretarial skills to the medical field working as a medical secretary at Putnam Community Hospital from 1975-1980 then for Dr. Ed Davis Orthopedic Group Daytona Beach from 1980-1984 then prior to her retirement she worked as a medical secretary at Tomoka Eye Associates from 1984-2003.

Ardyth was an avid baseball fan loved reading gardening and gambling.

She was preceded in death by her husband Cecil C. Hurst Sr. and is survived by two sons Cecil "Skip" Hurst Jr. Charlotte NC and Scott Lee Hurst and his wife Janice of Ormond Beach two grandchildren Cheyne Hurst and his wife Tina of Vicenza Italy and Erin H. Noles of Ormond Beach as well as by two great-grandchildren Makayla and Reese Noles both of Ormond Beach.
