Ardis Marie McDonald Parker, 91, a Daytona Beach native, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday December 22, 2017 at her residence. She was born on September 12, 1926 in Daytona Beach, Florida to the late Murray L. and Susannah (Pellett) McDonald.

In 1944 she graduated from Mainland High School where she was crowned Miss Mainland. She was a member of The Catholic Church of the Epiphany where she served as a Eucharist Minister. She also participated in Prison Fellowship.

Survivors include five of her six children, Nancy (Brian) Collins, Jimmy (Tillie) Parker, Richard (Sammy) Parker, Melanie (Noel) Koeller and Mandi (Carleton) Jones; two brothers, Murray and Dennis McDonald; a daughter- in-law, Barbara (Joe) Parker; Eleven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband of 58 years, Robert J. "Bobby" Parker as well as by her son, Joseph S. "Joe" Parker and her sisters, Hildegarde "Hilda" Ent and Wilda Kemmer.

Memorial donations may be made in her memory to Halifax Health Hospice of Volusia/Flagler, 303 N. Clyde Morris Blvd., Daytona Beach, FL 32114 or to The Catholic Church of the Epiphany, 201 Lafayette Street, Port Orange, FL 32127. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday January 4, 2017 at The Catholic Church of the Epiphany, 201 Lafayette Street, Port Orange, FL 32127. A Visitation will be held from 11am till the service begins at 12pm also at the Church. A Graveside service will follow in Daytona Memorial Park, Daytona Beach, FL.
