April (Hughes) France, 41, of Daytona Beach Shores, passed away on September 6, 2016. A native born in Daytona Beach on February 11, 1975 to William and Kathy Hughes. She graduated from Spruce Creek High School in 1993 and then graduated with her Associate of Arts from Daytona State College.

A beautiful woman inside and out. April was the most selfless and giving person you could ever meet. Her goal in life was to always help others even when it meant making her own personal sacrifices to do so. April loved her family and most especially her son.
Jayce was the love of her life. The love of her family and most of all, her"to the moon and back" love for her son Jayce. She will be deeply missed by all of her friends and family.

Survivors include her son, Jayce Camron France of Ormond Beach; mother, Kathy Hughes of Port Orange; sister, Jenny Connell of Daytona Beach; brother, Billy Hughes, Jr. of Port Orange; and maternal grandfather, Marvin Brugone.

April was preceded in death by her loving father, Bill Hughes, Sr., maternal grandmother, Norma Jean Brugone, grandmother, Ruth Hughes and her grandfather, Prescott Hughes.
