Antonetta Sparagna 90 of Palm Coast FL passed away Sunday January 15 2006 at Florida Hospital Flagler. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Santa Maria Del Mar Catholic Church at 11:00am on Wednesday January 18 2005 with Rev. John Tetlow as celebrant. Family will receive friends at 9:30 am in Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast.
Antonetta was born in Bridgeport CT on June 15 1915 to Antonio & Elizabeth Orsaia. She soon moved to Italy where she was raised and spent many years. Antonetta moved to Palm Coast almost 8 years ago from Stanford CT where she lived for many years after returning from Italy. She was a member of Santa Maria del Mar Catholic Church; and she enjoyed playing cards and crochet. Antonetta?s greatest joy was her family. She truly lived for them; and embodied the spirit of the word homemaker.
Left to cherish her memories are her beloved husband of 66 years Frank; children Mary DeBlasi of Palm Coast Pasquale Sparagna of Stamford & Theresa Bongo of Palm Coast; 10 grandchildren Guy Annette Lisa Donna Frank Patrick Kelly Toni Dominic & David; 15 Great-Grandchildren; a niece & 4 nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and by a brother Marco Orsaia and sister Rose Pasqua
