Anthony Thomas Jusick, 83, passed away on February 2, 2022 in Deland, Florida. He was born in Elgin, Illinois to Thomas and Eleanor Jusick on March 23, 1938. He graduated from Boca Ciega High School located in St. Petersburg, Florida in 1956. He then graduated from the University of Florida in January of 1961 with a Bachelor of Science. In 1963 he received his Doctor of Philosophy degree from the University of Florida. He was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. He joined the Stetson University Physics Department in 1966  as an authority in Space and Atmosphere. He continued along as Professor Emeritus of Physics until his retirement in 2011. He was ordained by Holy Priesthood Orthodox Catholic Church of America on March 4, 1976. He was a Member and Lay Reader of St. Judes's Episcopal Church, Orange City. He loved to play golf, walk, read, and watch his favorite teams the Florida Gators and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He was married to Rebecca Jordan Jusick on June 9, 1957. He had three children James Jusick, Belinda Huttmann(Gary), and Douglas Jusick. He also had three Grandchildren Jamee Jusick, Joshua Huttmann, and Joelle Huttmann. He was also blessed with two great Grandchildren James and Leja.
