Funeral services for Anthony J. Campanella Sr. 84 of South Daytona who passed away on February 21 2007 will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday February 26 2007 at the Baggett & Summers Chapel of Lohman Funeral Homes 736 S. Beach St. with Chaplain Leslie Avchin officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service and interment will follow at Daytona Memorial Park. Mr. Campanella was born on July 5 1922 to the late Salvatore and Angela Campanella in Manhattan New York. He enlisted in the U. S. Army and honorably served his country during WWII. He was employed by the New York City Fire Department where he worked as a fireman until his retirement. Mr. Campanella was a member of the Uniformed Firefighters Association the VFW post 3282 as well as a member of Epiphany Church. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Yolanda.
