Anthony F. Buonamano 85 of Ormond Beach FL passed away Thursday November 4 2010 at Florida Hospital-Oceanside. The family will receive friends on Tuesday November 9th between the hours of 2-4 & 6-8 pm at Lohman Funeral Home 733 W. Granada Blvd. Ormond Beach. Funeral services will be celebrated on Wednesday the 10th at 11:00 am also at Lohman Funeral Home. Anthony was born November 22 1924 in Bronx NY to Camillo and Rose (DeLuca) Buonamano. He relocated to Ormond Beach Fl in 1980 from Larchmont NY. Anthony retired after 34 years from the US Postal service as General Manager/Plant Engineer. He received his Bachelors' from Pacific Western University in NY served as a Sgt. in the US Army during WWII was a parishioner at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Ormond Beach and was very active with the Ormond Beach Citizen Police Academy. He loved to tinker with anything he could get his hands on he also loved drawing writing reading and applying his architectural skills. He is survived by his wife of 63 years Anna J. Buonamano Ormond Beach his daughters Diane Marengo and her husband Bobby Long Island NY and Maria Donofrio and her husband Carl Ormond Beach as well as by his granddaughter Denise Donofrio Jacksonville FL. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Anthony's memory to Florida Hospital Hospice Care 770 W. Granada Blvd. Suite 319 Ormond Beach FL 32174.
