A Celebration of Life for Anthony D."Benji"Benecasa 58 of Daytona Beach who passed away on Thursday February 1 2007 at the home of his brother Mickey in Ormond Beach will be held Saturday February 10 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond Beach 733 W. Granada Blvd. with his brother in law Rev. Donald Foster officiating. His family will receive friends on Thursday February 8 2007 from 6:00 PM Until 8:00 PM and Friday From 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Lohman Funeral Home Ormond. Anthony was born August 22 1948 in Cold Spring NY the son of Dominic and Concetta Fusto Benecasa. Surviving him are 2 Brothers Dominic A. Benecasa Joseph W. Benecasa 3 sisters Rosemarie and Husband Donald Foster Catherine and Husband Bill Mahodel and Christine and Husband Art Bertalan. He graduated from Haldane High School Cold Spring NY and attended Duchess Community College. Benji owned and operated Anthony's Limousine service in Westchester County for 15 years. He was a self employed Blues Musician as a drummer in the New York City area. He came to Florida in 2000. He worked as a driver for Auto Zone for three years. He was also a Blues Musician in the Daytona Beach area. He belonged to The Daytona Beach Blues Society. He was an avid Hot Rodder owning an antique GTO. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast enjoying his Harley Davidson. Benji had a great sense of humor and will be missed by his Family and Friends.
