Anthony Beganski age 86 of Daytona Beach passed away suddenly at the Halifax Medical Center in Daytona Beach of Thursday May 28 2009. A gathering and funeral service in his honor will be held Tuesday June 2 2009; beginning at 12:00 PM for a 1:00 service at the Daytona Chapel of the Lohman Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Daytona Memorial Park.

"Tony" was born in Brooklyn NY to Adolph and Stella Beganski. He was a proud US Army veteran of WWII and dedicated his talents working for the New York Transit Authority. He came to Daytona Beach after his retirement about 30 years ago. He had a great love of animals and enjoyed watching sports especially NASCAR football and golf. Mr. Beganski will be remembered a fastidious solitary gentleman who gave his love discriminately.

His beloved wife Evelyn preceded him in death in 1994. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his granddaughter Jodi ( Alex) Kellenberger a sister Vera Sharko his dear friend Jan Farley several family members and his devoted feline companion.
