A Celebration of Life for Anthony "Tony" Baxewanis 85 of Ormond Beach FL. who passed away on Friday June 15 at his home will be held Tuesday June 19 2007 at 2:00 PM at Holy Cross Eastern Orthodox Church with Father Michael Byars officiating. Burial will be at Daytona Memorial Park. Anthony was born March 15 1922 in Reading PA. He served in the US Navy during WW II. He married Doris Mae Herman April 21 1945. Mr. Baxewanis was a News Photographer working in Reading PA Philadelphia PA. and then Binghamton NY. He moved to Ormond Beach in 1975 and went to work for WESH News retiring in 1988. He was an artist and enjoyed painting. Surviving him are his wife Doris a daughter Yvonne Copp Egg Harbor NJ a brother William Baxewanis Reading PA 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
