Anthony ?Tony? Albuquerque age 74 of Ponce Inlet passed away early Thursday morning July 8th with his wife at his bedside at Florida Hospital-Ormond Memorial. Tony and his family resided in Ponce Inlet where he served 3 terms as a city councilman. He served in the United States Army-Air Force during the Korean War then resided in Windsor Connecticut and was a 25 year veteran of the Windsor Police Department. He was a devoted husband and father and he will be missed tremendously by his family. Survivors of the beloved ?Tony? include his wife and best friend Sharon ?Sheri? Albuquerque granddaughters Jennifer Fazzino and Christina Kelley the daughters of Tracy Kelley deceased of Ponce Inlet Florida; his daughter Danielle Veillette son-in-law Michael Veillette grandchildren Burgandy Michael-Anthony Jade and Autumn Veillette all of Enfield Connecticut. He is also loved and survived by his son Joseph Albuquerque his wife Julie and their children Shaina and Cameron of Connecticut; his daughter Doreen Albuquerque Miano and their mother Millie C. Brooks now residing in Florida. Along with all of his family he had many friends that he held near to his heart. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute 12902 Magnolia Drive Tampa Florida 33612. A Celebration of Tony?s life will be held Wed.
