Annie "Estelle" Garrett 99 of Port Orange peacefully passed away on December 25 2011. Estelle was born in Barberville FL . She moved to Port Orange and was a resident in this area for 72 years. Estelle was a cafeteria worker for the Volusia County School Board for over 35 years.
Estelle loved doing crafts particularly quilting. She enjoyed reading. She was a great cook. Estelle will be remembered for being an excellent wife and mother.
Estelle was predeceased by her loving husband Robert Garrett and by 6 children. She is survived by her daughters: Paula Christmas of Titusville Barbara (Marty) Bennett of Port Orange and Artie Mae (Floyd) Hewitt of Daytona Beach; and her son Paul (Gracie) Garrett of Port Orange; and her brother N.J. Dreggors of Cocoa. She will be sadly missed by her 32 grandchildren 57 great grandchildren 28 great-great grandchildren and 5 great-great-great grandchildren.
Family welcomes friends for a Visitation on Friday December 30th from 11am-12pm at Cardwell Funeral Home Port Orange. Chapel service will begin at 12:00pm in the Cardwell Funeral Home Chapel. Burial at Woodland Cemetery will follow.
