Annette LeVaughn Farmer, 55 of Ormond Beach FL, passed away on Friday, March 20 2015 at 11:30 PM at the home of her daughter in Marietta, GA.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 30th at 4:00 p.m. at Lohman Funeral Home; 733 W. Granada Blvd. Ormond Beach The family will receive friends on hour prior to services.
Born May 22, 1959 in Steubenville, OH to Roland L. LeVaughn and Jane Thomas LeVaughn, Annette went on to attend Memphis State University and Methodist Hospital School of Nursing from where she graduated in 1981 with her BSN degree. She went on to work as a Registered Nurse at Le Bonner Children's Hospital in Memphis, and as a Gastroenterologist Nurse at Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center, and as a visiting nurse in Grand Rapids, MI.
She was a member of ALS association and several other charitable organizations, and was passionate about exploring the world, making new friends, being outdoors, NASCAR, country music, dancing, volunteer work, dogs, friends, six nieces and nephew, and her three beautiful grandchildren.
She is survived by her two children, Sam Farmer and Emily Farmer Faisal,
Her former husband Dr. Danny Farmer, M.D., her three brothers, Timothy LeVaughn, Dr. Mark LeVaughn, and David LeVaughn.
