Obituary

Anne Caldwell, 85, of Daytona Beach passed away peacefully on Friday, May 28th 2021
surrounded by her loving family. Anne had worked as a successful interior designer until her
retirement.


She lived a life guided by her strong Christian faith and belief in helping others, not with just
words, but deeds. She was active in various ministries at First Baptist including ministering to
incarcerated women and caring for the special needs community.
A wonderful cook, she insisted on feeding everyone who walked through her door. She felt great
love and concern not just for her family, but to friends. Praying daily for everyone she knew.
She was wise and full of life, sharing her wisdom and constant optimism to those that she cared
for. Anyone who knew Anne loved her. She will be deeply missed by all.


Anne was born in Johnson City TN on April 26, 1936 to Louise and Tom Deaderick. She was
preceded in death by her parents, her brother Tom Deaderick, Jr.and grandson Ryan Bennett.
Left to mourn her passing are her children Mary (Rick) Brown of Lexington KY and Tom (former
wife, Karen) Caldwell of Port Orange. She was also survived by four grandchildren Shelby
(Jake) Hartlage, Lexington KY; Sarah (Jesse) Warren, Lexington KY; Jonathon Brown,
Lexington KY; Ben Caldwell, Port Orange FL and two bonus granddaughters, Emily Edwards
and Blythe Brown, both of Lexington KY. She had three great grandchildren Ella, Xavier and
Bennett.


Memorial service will be at 12:00 pm, Thursday June 3, 2021 at First Baptist Church Daytona.
10 First Baptist Parkway, Daytona Beach.
