Anna M. Soha passed peacefully on Ash Wednesday, February 22 at Seagrass Village in Port Orange, Florida, she was 96. She was born in Pringle, Pennsylvania and graduated from Collegeville Misericordia with a chemistry degree and a teaching certificate. After college Anna accepted a teaching position in Princess Ann Maryland. Two years later she moved to New York to work with Cowles Chemical company as a chemist. She then moved to Merck in New Jersey and worked there until 1984 when she retired.

After Anna retired in Florida, the loss of her eyesight did not prevent her from enjoying the tropical atmosphere of Florida. While in New Jersey she sang the Messiah with the Newark Philharmonic Orchestra during Christmas holidays. In Florida, Anna joined a group that sang and played the harmonica at local venues. She loved music, especially classical. The Blue Danube Waltz was one of her favorites. Anna continued to enjoy swimming and hosting family and friends at her home.

Anna was an eccentric, kind, and generous person. Her favorite saying was "Be grateful for what you have." She was an inspiration to her family and friends.

Anna was the last of 7 children of Stella and Andrew Soha to pass. She was preceded in death by her parents Stella (Dermayko) and Andrew J Soha; her sisters Josephine Soha, Helen Renault and Sophie Payne; her brothers, Stanley Soha, John A. Soha and Albert Soha.
