Anna Long's Obituary
Funeral Services for Anna Elizabeth Morgan Long age 93 who passed away Sunday July 11 at Alterra Sterling House in Ormond Beach will be Monday July 19 at 1:00 pm at First Christian Church Disciples of Christ of Daytona Beach 326 S. Palmetto Ave. Daytona Beach FL with Rev. Joseph Stock officiating.
Her family will receive friends from 3-5 pm on Sunday July 18 at Lohman Ormond Funeral Home.
Anna was born on February 27 1911 in Dayton Ohio the daughter of William and Emma Morgan. She married Walter Long in 1930 and they with their children moved to the Daytona Beach area in 1948. She and Walter moved to Melbourne in 1960 where they owned and operated Eau Gallie Blue Print Service. After the death of her husband of 63 years she returned to this area in 1993.
Anna was a dedicated homemaker who enjoyed her home on Dix Avenue and loved gardening flowers and cooking. She loved traveling and picnics with family and friends. She enjoyed her sweet dog Honey and enjoyed the prairie dogs in The Blackhills of South Dakota.
Anna will lovingly be remembered by her family who survive her including her two daughters Jeananne Wintz and husband William of Hot Springs SD; Emma Lee Miller and husband Robert of Ormond Beach FL; and her son James William Long and wife Rhonda of Ramona CA. She is survived locally by her granddaughter Ruth Ann Woodward two great grandchildren Wyatt and Wendell Woodward and grandson James Nichols Miller. She is also survived by her grandson Robert Scott Miller of PA; Daniel Walter Miller of Ojai CA; Greg Wintz of Pocatello ID and David Long of San Diego CA; granddaughters Allison Kytonin of Spokane WA; Mary Miller of Weaverville CA; Sharon Theroux of Eagle River AK; Bethany Chamberlain of Evergreen CO; and Alicia Welch of Lemon Grove CA. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren: Luke Rebecca Ann and twins Hannah & Leah Chamberlain Caitlin and Olivia Miller Anna and Garrison Theroux Grace Welch Colon and Camille Wintz; and Caleb and Daniel Kytonin.
