Anna Brown age 73 of La Costa Village Port Orange Florida passed away on Saturday March 6 2010 with her beloved husband at her side. A memorial service in her honor will be held Sunday March 14 2010; 11:00 AM at Baggett and Summers Chapel a Lohman Funeral Home. Inurnment will take place in Beth David Cemetery New York. Anna was born in Manhattan New York to Hysen and Ruka Metli. After marrying her husband Stuart Brown they lived in Queens for over 18 years and later moved to BayShore New York. Anna dedicated her talents to assisting her husband in his company S. Brown Jewelers and also worked as a homemaker. She was a devoted wife mother and grandmother who enjoyed dancing fishing bowling tennis bingo casino slots and attending the Opera. Anna also enjoyed accompanying her husband in his participation with The Moose Lions Club Rotary Kiwanis Masons the Chamber of Commerce and BayShore Merchants Association; all of Long Island. She was the proud past Vice President of both the Sisterhood and B'nai B'rith and Hadssah Organization. Most of all Anna loved spending time with her family. Her father and beloved mother a son Michael Brown and a brother Bobby Metli in-laws Gigi Metli. Alfred Thompson preceded her in death and she leaves behind to cherish her memory her broken hearted husband of 52 years Stuart Brown; 3 children Kenneth Brown David Brown and Marlisa (Russell) Schimmenti; a brother Richard (Ann) Metli 3 sisters Grace (Robert) Hart Blanch Thompson and Nancy (Robert) Sorrentino; 4 grandchildren Derek Kendall Rachel and Dawson and many more loving family and friends.
