Memorial Services for Anne M. Arida 91 of Port Orange who passed away April 23 2007 will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday April 25 2007 at Port Orange Presbyterian Church 4662 S. Clyde Morris Blvd with Pastor John Fitch officiating. Following the service friends and family are invited to a reception at the home of Dolores and Cliff Sistrunk. Mrs. Arida was born July 26 1915 to the late Jacob and Agatha Baganski in McKeesport Penn.. She was a woman of many talents working various jobs throughout her life. She worked as a telephone operator for Ohio Bell a waitress and during WWII was more notably known as a "Rosie the Riveter " working as a materials inspector. Mrs. Arida was also very active volunteering with churches assisting them with the popular "Casino Nights." Of her various jobs and occupations her greatest pleasure was her family. She leaves to cherish her memory her children Richard C. Arida and his wife Janet Dolores A. Sistrunk and her husband Clifford and Edward J. Arida and his wife Marj; sister Caroline Karol; grandchildren Denise (Chris) Coventry Samantha (fiance Mike) Sistrunk Jacob (Deborah) Sistrunk Amy Arida Jonathan Sistrunk and Ryan Arida; and great grandchildren Nickolas Jacob and Sabrina. Preceding her in death were her loving husband of 42 years Eddie; brother John Baker and sister Catherine Bolek.
