Ann Sanchez, 85 of Ormond Beach, Florida passed away Friday morning, July 10, 2015 at the Bridgeview Nursing Home in Ormond Beach.
Born October 24, 1929 in Hazelton, Pennsylvania, she and her family then moved to Pikesville, Maryland. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Smelgus and is survived by three younger brothers, and an older sister.
She married Anthony R. Sanchez in 1954. They had five children, eight grandchildren, and sixteen great-grandchildren scattered throughout the United States.
Ann was a telephone operator until marriage, when she became a homemaker.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 13th at 1:00 p.m. at Lohman Funeral Home; 733 W. Granada Blvd. Ormond Beach. The family will receive friends beginning at 11:00 a.m..
