Ann Hudson was born in Homestead, Florida to Emily Elise (Smith) Heckle and William Lawrence Heckle on November 7, 1921. She married Donald Charles Hudson Sr. on May 6, 1945. Ann's loving husband Donald of 54 years passed away on November 22, 1999.
Ann has three living children; Joyce Ann Graf who is married to Jack Graf, Donald Charles Hudson who is married to Cheryl Fowler, and Lawrence Howard Hudson who is married to Robin Porter. Her grandchildren are Douglas Graf, Gregory Graf, Phillip Graf, Cynthia Garrison, Juli Howard, Ryan Hudson, Becky Hudson, Troy Hudson, Kelly Sims Melissa Hudson, and Shaena Hudson.
Ann also has numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She loved all of her children very much and was always there for every one of them – always giving her unconditional love and support to all.
Ann graduated from Senior High School in Orlando, Florida. During the 1940's (World War II). She worked at the Orlando airbase. Thanks to the NYR Federal Program she became a legal stenographer and worked at that for fifteen years. Most of her life was devoted to raising her children and always being there for them.
Later in life Ann worked for the Girl Scouts camp in Dixon and Port Bryon Illinois where she would often take her grand-daughters Juli and Becky to spend many days of enjoyment with her.
Ann was loved by all of her family and will always be remembered for her unconditional love she had for all of us.
